Media Molecule seeking Dreams VR testers
Limited number of European spaces available. Participants will be paid £200
Media Molecule is recruiting testers to help “refine and iterate” Dreams’ upcoming virtual reality features.
The UK studio said on Friday that the tests are limited to European players, who’ll be required to sign an NDA if selected.
Successful applicants will need to have an introductory session, report on their experiences playing the game over a two-week period, and complete a final interview. They’ll be paid £200 for their time.
PS4 game creation platform Dreams released in Early Access form in April 2019 before officially launching in February 2020.
Creative director Mark Healey told VGC earlier this year that VR support and enabling players to make multiplayer online games were the Dreams community’s most requested features.
He also revealed that he’d like to see the best community creations released as standalone games on the PlayStation Store.
Media Molecule recently released a trial version of Dreams. The free demo allows players to experience a selection of community creations and play a slice of the Art’s Dream story mode, among other features.
Sony said in January that PlayStation VR sales have topped five million units since launching in October 2016.
